What is Slimjet Web Store?
One of my extensions just developed a notice saying, "This extension violates the Slimjet Web Store policy." What is the Slimjet Web Store? I tried three search engines to try to find it, but all they fetch is the Chrome Web Store. What does that notice mean anyway?

Re: What is Slimjet Web Store?
Hello,
The "Slimjet Web Store" itself does not exist, it refers to the "Chrome Web Store", so to judge well if an extension violates the TOS of the CWS, it is not FlashPeak (developer of Slimjet) that evaluates but Google
I hope I brought an answer which could be convenient for you
Have a nice day

%browser% Web Store == Chrome Web Store.
Same issue with Brave, BTW.
Make sure you trust the source of your extensions, but no need to follow Google's business model.

Thanks for the information. The Chrome Web Store has gotten rid of that extension and the console keeps saying, "Connection refused". I guess it is time to get rid of the extension.
Why does Vivaldi not complain about it?

My guess is a flag set/unset. Of course it is possible to run with unapproved extensions. Why does Vivaldi not complain about it?
In principle, anyone can develop an extension and most don't connect to anything such that the connection might be refused,.
What is the extension in question? Some sort of VPN or proxy?

The extension was NoClickJack. It was supposed to prevent clickjacking.

I am not sure what it was supposed to connect to. With Vivaldi, the console gives no error messages. I removed the extension from Slimjet.
