Things browsers can do but I don't use a browser for it.

Not counting things I don't do at all of course.

These are convenience matters (and personal taste) not any security issues with the browser.

Not that Slimjet's built in one is bad, but this is more configurable and not limited to browser screenshots.

I have it set up to load at start up, and it does not take up a lot of system resources.
The little camera looking thing on the left is its icon in my system tray, but having it display like that is optional.

Saving a web page as a pdf: Bullzip
https://www.bullzip.com/

This is a virtual printer and printer driver.
Works for any application with a print function.

You can save a web page to pdf by printing it and choosing that printer.
It gives you a lot more control over how the pdf will look than the built in facility.

Anyone else?

To save screenshots, I use the built-in MacOS capability. I can select any part of anything on my desktop and it will be saved as a .png file on my desktop.
