Linux Cinnamon Mint & BBC website

I have 3 laptops running Slimjet, 2 running Windows and 1 running Cinnamon Mint 20.2. Both Windows machines are fine on the beeb's website but on the Linux machine the pictures are sometimes displayed only as gray boxes. This may be down to the speed of the machine (ARKA 11.6" atom powered)
Chrome seems impervious to the issue
