Anti-fingerprinting and Privacy Options Removed in Latest Update

DISABLE READING FROM HTML5 CANVAS (an important anti-fingerprinting measure) and other privacy options have been removed in the latest update without notice. Why?

Unless they have been moved to another menu?

But in preliminary tests of the new version, it appears Slimjet has removed rather than replaced these anti-fingerprinting and privacy measures.

Could this be a good opportunity to reintroduce better native fingerprint defending measures with two options: 1) HTML5 CANVAS BLOCKING 2) FINGERPRINT DEFENDING (hide real canvas fingerprint by reporting a random fake value.)

Could someone please clarify the changes that have been made and why, and Slimjet's direction on this and privacy related features in general?

Thanks!

Maybe the developers figured that everyone who wants to stop tracking will install Trace from the Google addons site?

High handed removal of functionality not unlike Chrome?

And no indication here ==> https://www.slimjet.com/en/whatisnew.php
Meaning they are definitely being sneaky about it.

Pressure from businesses that like to snoop?

Where do I go to download older versions?

I'm 95% certain that removal of this from our grasp was done by the chromium browser engine developers and not SJ dev. I'm pretty sure someone posted about it a while back linking it as well.

No reason the Slimjet devs can't put it back.

As they did with warnings about closing multiple windows, removed from Chrome but still thankfully in Slimjet.
