Hello,

When comparing to other browsers like Palemoon, firefox, slimjet have very weak text rendering, harder to read. Does anyone know, how to fix this?

Based on the picture, I'd say the problem isn't text rendering as such, but that Slimjet's default theme is brighter but lower contrast.

Unfortunatelly its really difference not in color, more like render. Its really much more inconvinient to read:

well, I am not sure where should I direct this..
If this is something, which could be changed by some option, then its more like advice seeking, but if this are not possible to affect any software option, I would say its a bug as other browser renders text nicelly.

For me it seems that browser doesnt take "smooth" "cleartype" "acceleration" or something like this nicelly within the system. No clue why, cant compare with chrome, never had that, but all other opera/mozilla/IE/palemoon are just fine..

Edit: I would say its a bug. The Windows settings Adjust ClearType Text has no effect on Slimjet font render. I tried disable Accelerated 2D canvas, no change, still the same, weak font..

I already tried, and leave it installed.. Its better for page text, but not as good as normal drawing in other browsers. Bookmarks etc. remains same. I would really like to get this sorted out.. Biggest constraints which prevents me to use Slimjet as primary was missing left bookmark tab and missing titlebar (to operate window position and bring slimjet window to foreground by mouse without activate action within actual Slimjet).

Now favourites included, leaving only titlebar missing as big issue I started to test/use slimjet a bit more, and found this render issue, which appeared to be another big drawback unfortunatelly. Hopefully it could be fixed / setuped somehow, I am hoping. There are a few smaller things, like inability to search by keyword two characters, ability to change keyboard shortcuts etc., but those are not that important as quality (well let say standard) text rendering and window operability.
