Will upgrading overwrite my bookmarks - plugins in debian linux.

I`m using debian linux so will upgrading to the current version of SlimJet delete my BookMarks & Favorites + settings if i use Deepin installer ? Can it be done with the command line to keep everything as is BookMarks - Favorites - Settings...? If the cli is best post the code to type in the terminal verbatim.
