New Home button

Is there any way to get rid of the new Home button on the navigation toolbar? I neither need it nor want it, and I could not find any setting for it in the Preferences.

Go to Settings, subheading Appearance, click the 'Customize Toolbar' button.
Drag buttons around.

What I saw for Customize was the home button on the left side. I dragged ti to the right and back again, and now it is next to the extension buttons and I cannot remove it. What file in the profile has the list of buttons? Maybe it is possible to hack that file to remove the home button for good?

This might be resolved with version 27.0.5.0. check it out.

Indeed it is. They must have paid attention to the bug report I filed.

Just a note to everyone else who might be reading this -- Always file a bug report for bugs, complaining about it here is not a bug report.
