Hello dear developers Slimjet browser. Slimjet my favorite browser, it combines the speed of the webkitt engine and the ability to customize toolbar.
Please create a mail client on the webkit engine. Now I use "Opera mail" client on webkit, but I want to use the browser and mail client one brand.
Please make Slimjet e-mail client on the Webkit engine
Re: Please make Slimjet e-mail client on the Webkit engine
Opera Mail is not on Webkit, is it?
Re: Please make Slimjet e-mail client on the Webkit engine
Slimjet is blink not webkit but a inbuilt email client would be handy but i doubt the developers would be interested in entering that market as most email clients are now standalone products including opera mail.
A encrypted product would be the best route to attract people to use it.

I can not say for sure, but I am more than confident that Opera Mail uses WebkitOpera Mail is not on Webkit, is it?
I am sure that Slimjet mail client will be popular.
I would also like to see Slimjet internet messenger on Webkit with supporting protocols: icq, jabber, skype(through transport) etc..
Re: Please make Slimjet e-mail client on the Webkit engine
You don't understand something in this life then because chrome/chromium and opera browsers all use the blink engine now, it even states on slimjet's homepage its powered by blink.Cybermax wrote:>>Slimjet based on Chromium sdk. Re: Please make Slimjet e-mail client on the Webkit engine

So As i said then opera, chrome/chromium all use blink now not webkit and i know blink is a fork of webkit but the code is different and will only get more different as time goes by.
As too Opera Mail it still uses the Presto layout engine but that or what code browsers use is neither here or there really, your idea of a inbuilt email client has its merits.

Re: Please make Slimjet e-mail client on the Webkit engine
Opera Mail, I have been told by a reliable source, is dead. There seems to be waning interest in standalone mailers. When I used Opera, I used the mailer, which I thought highly of. It also did a great job with feeds. Since the switch to SJ, though, I've jettisoned OM and use the Gmail interface.

So Cybermax please note that your info and the pepelsbey.net info is WRONG.
Look to this for correct info:
Safari: WebCore, JacaScriptCore, WebKit
Chromium, Chrome, (current) Opera, SlimJet: Blink, V8, Chromium
