Google Cast issue

I noticed over the last couple of weeks that my Google Cast extension no longer works and is reporting that Chrome is out of date. I know I have installed one or two Slimjet updates since then. Is Slimjet (Chrome) technically still out of date or is there some other problem with Slimjet and the Google Cast extension (used for Chromecast). Thanks.
