Clicking browser's back button brings me to wrong page

Very often, when I am browsing Reddit, I will be reading a post and then when I click Slimjet's back button it brings me to a previously viewed (cached?) version of the page, with older posts, and not the page I was just on. If I then click the reload button, then it displays the current version of the page with the current posts.
This seems like a bug. Is it?
