Browser update via help not operative, is this a bug?

Browser update via help not operative, is this a bug?

Going to help section to see version no. doesn't make the browser update like Chrome does.
Is is a project in the works or a bug?

No auto update in slimjet as yet, that's how the devs want it for now so not a bug
