I was installing some software as well as updating windows and this problem appeared. Slimjet slows and then stops. The only way I can fix is to keep pressing the 'repair browser registry settings' button in the setting menu. This also happens with Chrome, but no other browsers. A fresh install of either slimjet or chrome hasn't resolved it.
