[Fixed] Netflix does not work with v17.0

Please, explain how I can return to the earlier version of Slimjet. In the new 17.0 version, Netflix does not work. The Widevine Content Decryption Module does not update itself in any way. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I use normal PC with Windows 10.

I'd like to see a copy of that version 17.0 your using.

Currently Slimjet is at Stable Release 16.0.9.0

To install an older version and retain as much profile data as possible this is what I would do.

• Sign in to Google and make use of Google Sync to save your bookmarks and extensions
• If you have Quickfill data, Click the Quickfill Icon, select More, and use the Backup dialog
• After installing a previous version of your choice, sign in to Google and let it sync
• Then if you have Quickfill data, Click the Quickfill Icon, select More, and use the Restore dialog

Sorry, but I'm a bit at a loss what you mean by "copy". I have this information: Version 17.0.0.0 (based on Chromium 63.0.3239.52) (Official Build) (32-bit). I just don't know what more should I supply.

Where did you get the 17.0 version from ?? Was it an internal update ? I cannot find it being hosted in the Slimjet site.

And it says "About Slimjet" when you go Settings > Help center to find that information?

Yes, "About Slimjet" exactly there. I found this new version clicking Settings > Help Center > Check Update.

I wrote on the Fbook page as well, and got the following reply: "V17 64-bit has some crashing issues. We have taken the 17 beta offline for now. Once we resolve the issue, we will update again." This Netflix problem seems to concern the 32-bit version too, however.

It's somewhat odd that Netflix, otherwise, works with the newest version of Google Chrome, where the necessary component (Widevine Content Decryption Module - Version: 1.4.8.1029) is exactly the same version as in Slimjet 17.0.

It is to be noticed that Netflix doesn't work even with the new Version 17.0.1.0 (based on Chromium 63.0.3239.52) (Official Build) (32-bit). I hope that even this error should be corrected soon. I like Slimjet, but now have to make use of another browser because of this. It is a bit odd, considering the widespread use of Netflix, that the developers of Slimjet don't pay more attention to its flawless working.
