Got it. Thanks. What was wrong with the old way of handling the extensions?

The button at the right end of the navigation toolbar opens a menu that used to have the extra buttons for extensions that I did not need to be instantly available all the time. Those buttons are now missing from that menu. How do I get them back? I cannot access an extension without a toolbar button.

The navigation arrows would look better with bigger arrowheads. Other than that, the icons are all right. If you do not like the colours, you can use Chrome themes.

Without messing around with themes, I do not know any way to do that. You could choose a theme that makes the tabs easier to read. I use the Banana theme, which makes everything easier to read, with black text on a yellow background.

Maybe the developers figured that everyone who wants to stop tracking will install Trace from the Google addons site?

There is no about:config for Slimjet. Are you confusing this with Mozilla-derived browsers?

every time click on new tab, this new tab is not empty.... you have 8 icon on center page to all recent visited links... see this shot: edit---sorry but external links allowed for recently registered users (this is very bad news.... (absurd & frustrating...) so, from this icon ----- edit: sorry...

That page just keeps flashing and does not load. That happens with my other chromium browser, Vivaldi, as well.

Indeed it is. They must have paid attention to the bug report I filed.

If you have disabled everything in Preferences > You and Google > Sync and Google Services, then that should not happen.
