Re: Malwarebytes alert: feedapi.psccint.com

That is strange. As far as the bing search feature is concerned, nothing has changed between 12.0.6 and 12.0.13. Meanwhile, we are working on a solution to host the search api on our own server to avoid the false alarm thrown by malwarebytes. That makes sense, kinda. Then again, i'm using the same M...

Re: Malwarebytes alert: feedapi.psccint.com

Slimjet comes with a sponsored version of bing search services offered through an intermediate reselling company (Microsoft is too big to be willing to deal directly with a small team like us). The connection to feedapi.psccint.com is supposed to be a one-time call to initialize the search api. Howe...

Re: Inactive window status of slimjet after open/close tabs

Problem is caused by the side panel or auto-hide bookmarks bar stealing the focus. Will look into a solution.

Both XP and Vista will be supported on Slimjet 10 branch

After spending a lot of time trying to get Slimjet 12 compatible with Vista, we have decided to give up on that effort. Although we have managed to get Slimjet 12 to run and browse sites properly under Vista, it is not able to load any plugins under vista, most importantly, the flash plugin. That me...

The flash plugin is auto-updating. Flash 23 is not compatible with either XP or Vista. We need put in some code to disable the update of flash.

Re: Can I Hide The "Download Video" Button On Youtube?

Probably if you remove the file biscripts/youtubevideo.jsc under the installation folder, that will remove the button.

Unfortunately, Slimjet doesn't come with h264 codec for linux platform due to patent issues.

"Can't load plugin" issue for XP and Vista users

The problem was caused by the fact that the latest version of flash plugin (flash 23) is no longer compatible with either XP or Vista. While Slimjet ships with flash 22, Slimjet was configured to update the flash plugins automatically. Therefore, the flash plugin will stop working once it is updated...

Re: Help me resolve this "Couldn't load plugin" issue!

Type chrome://open_profile_folder into the address box to open the profile folder. After that, close Slimjet and remove the "Pepper Flash" folder under the profile folder. Then start Slimjet again. That should fix your problem.
