Re: Why do you need to complicate things for the user?

It sounds like Google's usual shenanigans. They want to force ads on people and track them all over the internet. They have found a new way to do that. I don't think that in this case it's Google at all that's doing this. It certainly looks like it's just Slimjet that's using this sidebar thing for...

Re: Why do you need to complicate things for the user?

It sounds like Google's usual shenanigans. They want to force ads on people and track them all over the internet. They have found a new way to do that. Certainly Ecosia does not do things like that. I decided to use that for a default search engine for Slimjet. You can also use Qwant as a search en...

Problem solved :

Hello, I have another proposal to submit that can bring an advantage to the Turbo download manager, it is to be able to open .sjtmdl files on the Turbo downloader in order to finish a download, this could be useful for example to start a download on a computer with Slimjet and finish it on another c...

Re: slimjet 36.0.2.0 linux version youtube videos not loading

Good stuff. I don't think they can package libffmpeg with Slimjet for legal reasons, but including a readme.txt (or a message when you first start the browser) telling you which version of the library it's built for would be very helpful. It seems that the problem is already documented: https://www...

Re: Netflix Throwing Error "M7121-1331"

This is caused by a change on the side of Netflix. Based on what we've investigated so far, this affects all chromium-based browsers and hard to fix. Netflix decided to tighten their DRM standard so that it's compatible with Chrome only. That sounds kind of strange, given that Slimjet identifies it...
