You need to find the profile. The directory where the application is will not contain that. You use Windows and I use MacOS. The structure of the profile is not very different between the two, whereas the format of the application is very different.

I gave up on Brave. It began lying to me. It disabled most of my extensions irreversibly, and the reason it gave was that they were not in the Chrome Web Store. I checked 3 of them, and all were still in the Chrome Web Store. If an application lies to me, I stop using it.
