Re: Aw Snap error on Ubuntu since upgrading to v18
Which means I have to install chromium, right? May as well use it and fight to get flash working in chromium. The 19.0.2 download came with libffmpeg, and it plays videos, but there are some sites the sound for the videos won’t play with slimjet. YouTube plays sound alright, as do other vid sites, b...

opensuse - slimjet 19.0.2.0 no sound for videos on some sites
Works with youtube, and a few other video/music/ads in pages sites, but there are a few sites it just won't play the sound for videos regardless of how I manage the content settings. The little speaker does not appear in the tab. oddly enough the Chromium 66.0.3359.117 (what 19.0.2.0 is built on) bu...

Re: Aw Snap error on Ubuntu since upgrading to v18
when I installed in openSuse, slimjet informed me I needed to download a specific libffmpeg.so file from 'git'(see link below), extract it, and copy it to the slimjet install directory. The libffmpeg.so that came with the slimjet 64bit linux download is 2.9MiB, installs in the slimjet install direct...

Slimjet for openSuse Leap 15.0
I am trying to get Slimjet installed so it can actually be used in openSuse Leap15.0 <Why isn't there an 'install' script in the tarball? Why isn't there an RPM installer as wide spread as it is used!? Those tarballs are a mess to work with!> I tried running the wrapper script as a non root user, an...

Re: Flash won't stick on sites I choose it to
And is there a way I can tell them to leave my profiles alone! This crap of having to change the same thing in several profiles because the devs can't leave the profiles alone is getting very old very quick!

Flash won't stick on sites I choose it to
How far up their bugs do the google devs have their heads? And WHAT the hell does it take to get Flash to 'STICK' on a web site? I have done the 'allow' under the freaking lock EVERY TIME I need it to set it to ALLOW, but the next time I login in to the site that I need it for i have to do that thin...

17.0.2 Flash fraked up again
Why do the Google or chromium or whoever insist on breaking Flash and forcing us back to a version that still supports it without a having to jump through a hell of a lot of whitelisting, or even using another browser(Firefox, edge, etc) to do banking and gaming on Facebook and other gaming sites. I...

Start up switches in Target line in desktop icon
Why is this set of switches necessary to view videos on explore.org? And on cbs.com Those two are what I have found so far, there may be more --always-authorize-plugins --force-fieldtrials="NewMenuStyle/Compact2/" My full target line in the icon properties box:(I am too lazy to change thin...

Flash permanetly disabled in 'incognito' mode ---WHY
when starting SJ from shortcut that has incognito switched on Flash is [permanently disabled. If setting to the 'recommended' setting, it is still blocked, and restarting in incognito mode, the setting is kicked back to 'blocked'! I am getting damned tired of having to whitelist my Flash sites, and ...
