I just installed Ubuntu 15.10 on my pc. Also installed Slimjet 5.0.15.0 on Ubuntu.
When I try Youtube the video stays black, the sound is fine, and then it crashes.
Youtube runs fine on Firefox on Ubuntu.
Is there anything I can do to resolve this on Slimjet? Thanks!!

Audio is choppy
Windows 10 and Slimjet 40.0.15.0 on this pc.
When I listen to a youtube video on Slimjet, the sound is choppy and skips. It's fine on Firefox.
I tried disabling Adobe Flash Player (slimjet://plugins) but that had no effect on the quality of the sound.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Re: Opening Slimjet from Desktop
Prior to Windows 10, I used MSE. Now I rely on the built-in windows defender. I also have been a long-time user of the free Malwarebytes, but was not aware of Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit Free. I just installed it. Thanks again!!

Re: Opening Slimjet from Desktop
dev, glad you mentioned that because I almost forgot that I did go to the settings page initially, and I tested moving the setting from the ' default ' down a notch (in the direction of ' Never notify ).' That's when I saw ' not recommended ' stated, and I thought that I better not do it and see if ...

Re: Opening Slimjet from Desktop
I resolved the problem this way...
1. Deleted the SJ icon on the Desktop.
2. Went to All apps > FlashPeak Slimjet
and picked up the icon from there for the Desktop.
It works now... issue closed.
