Re: No sound ONLY when SJ is used in Sandboxie
I'm too nervous about Beta releases to risk messing up my non-Sandboxed current INSTALLED VERSION of SJ. But, I went ahead and downloaded the SJ Beta of the PORTABLE distribution (it's in a zipped file). When I tried to unzip it, it wanted to overwrite my existing PORTABLE SJ copy, and I didn't want...

No sound ONLY when SJ is used in Sandboxie
Recently updated my SJ to v24.0.6.0 (32 bit) At the same time, updated my Sandboxie.exe to v5.31.6 (64 bit) Both are the current stable releases of each program. Both on a Windows 7 Pro machine. Videos play correctly with sound when using SJ alone (i.e., not inside Sandboxie). Videos play but no sou...

Re: Need a PDF "just open" option
Sandboxie is my first line of defense against browsing security threats. Downgrading it would compromise any improvements Sandboxie has built into its latest version to handle the newest security exploits. Besides, I was using an earlier version of Sandboxie when I tried to first use the current ver...

Re: Need a PDF "just open" option
I cannot update my SJ to the current version because the current version doesn't work with my primary security app Sandboxie. I hope you guys are right that the issue has already been fixed, but I won't be able to test it out myself until SJ migrates its rendering engine to Chromium 39 or 40. Like I...

Need a PDF "just open" option
Don't know if this has been addressed in a newer version of SJ (I'm using 32bit vers. 1.3.0.0. on Win 7 Pro 64bit), but if there is a PDF attachment in a webmail email, SJ doesn't offer an option to just open it without saving it. Currently, if you double click on the PDF file, SJ brings up the &quo...

Re: Slimjet + Sandboxie
The problem of SJ 2.0.0.1 not running in SB is related to the fact that SJ 2.0.0.1 is based on Chromium 38. Chromium 38 has a conflict with SB. The only way to solve this problem will be for SJ to migrate to one of the newer versions of Chromium that are already out: C39 or C40. Hopefully someone in...

Re: Slimjet + Sandboxie
FYI, SJ vers. 2.0.0.1 does not work with SB current official release 4.14 or beta 4.15.5. This has been proven by me and one other SB user. My system is not corrupt. djg14, you have been successful with SJ 1.3.0.0 and SB. All I wanted to know was which specific version number of SB you are using suc...

Re: Slimjet + Sandboxie
I was already aware that he said "the latest version" of Sandboxie in a previous post. Sandboxie has official release versions and beta versions of newer builds, and it's impossible to tell which "latest" version djg14 is using. That's why I asked for clarity by asking him to tel...

Re: Slimjet + Sandboxie
2) Please give me the exact version numbers of which version of Slimjet and Sandboxie you are using. And are you using the 32 bit or 64 bit versions of either of these? This is very important for me to know! Version 1.3.0.0 (based on Chromium 37.0.2062.94) djg14, this could be the key to solving th...
