Is there a way to know if the Slimjet sandbox is enabled or not? I can't recall if I ran Slimjet in the terminal the first time (on linux). So, is there a way to check on this or must I start over again?

Probably not the best solution to use an old browser version, but your choice. I'd at least try a fresh download reinstall of 23.0.5.0 & see if that solves anything.

Maybe. All I can tell you is they load fine for me on Linux. You can try clearing your cache & cookies, but you probably already tried that.

Ok, I thought maybe adblocker or an extension might be the problem. Not likely in incognito though unless you have them enabled there too.

Both load fine for me. Do they load for you in incognito mode?

No fix on 23.0.5.0, still no sound. I guess a solution can't be found, disappointing.

Does lowering the video quality (gear button lower right) help any? Does it do the same in incognito mode?

I get same as you for a second, then it loads & clears. Does it work for you in incognito mode? If so, suspect adblocker or an extension as the cause,

23.0.4.0, still no sound. You ain't gonna believe this but Slimjet started doing sign language instead of sound! :D :D :D The libffmpeg.so that came with 23.0.4.0 gives me sound on my 64bit machine. Try that one. Still no sound on 32bit though. Like you, I tried about every libffmpeg.so with no luc...

Since sound works in Chromium 74+, I took the libffmpeg.so from there & tried it in Slimjet. Still no sound, very strange. The instructions here don't give sound either. :
