Re: PepperFlash blocks volume adjustment on videos!

Can you provide a test link? We are currently moving Slimjet to chromium 36. It will come out shortly. Yes, I'm having some issues with pepper flash, well mostly it keeps on crashing. -PS: new version in chrome ( http://googlechromereleases.blogspot.com/2014/07/stable-channel-update.html ) and flash...

Re: DirectWrite

We will move to Chromium 37 when it is officially released. We don't want to build Slimjet on dev build or beta build of Chromium. The dev build might have some exciting features but has more bugs than you would expect. We are currently moving Slimjet to Chromium 36 and it should be ready in about a...

Re: PepperFlash blocks volume adjustment on videos!

How do you adjust the volume, on the player itself or the volume adjustment control on Windows taskbar? Which site are you talking about? Do you have a link?

Re: A lot of bugs in Slimjet portable

If you use google account to sync data, that won't help completely isolate the data even if you use portable version.

If you don't use google sync, Slimjet shouldn't share anything with Chrome whether it's portable version or regular version.

Re: A lot of bugs in Slimjet portable

I can address some of the issues here: If you sign into your google account, the data and settings of Slimjet will be automatically synchronized with those of Chrome. If you don't want them to synchronize, don't sign into your google account in Slimjet. I can't produce the other issues you mentioned...

Re: downloading streaming video

Right now, we only supports download videos from youtube.com. If you visit youtube.com and play one of the videos, you should see a download video button at the left bottom corner of the playing video.

Re: [feature reqeust] pepperflash folder recognition

We have just decided to build pepper flash into Slimjet since I have experienced more crashes and hanging with Adobe's NPAPI flash so far. It seems like NPAPI flash is almost an unsupported path with Google Chrome. Therefore, it's better for us to ship with pepper flash even if it makes the setup fi...

Re: SlimJet is reported as a threat

After shooting a couple of serious emails to Avast today, I've received another virus definition update later today. I checked again and Slimjet now comes up clean. However, based on my past experience with Avast, they might come back any time. Sometimes they just take the easy shortcut of white-lis...

Re: [feature reqeust] pepperflash folder recognition

Actually I found it's already supported via a command line switch. For example, you can ask Slimjet to use the pepper flash coming with chrome. Just specify path to the pepper flash dll and its version like this: slimjet.exe --ppapi-flash-path="C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\3...
