Re: Help Slimjet Grow

Thanks for sharing the information. I guess it is probably not a good idea to go promoting Slimjet in a competitor's forum, though. Don´t know also it helps, but I´ll give the reasons why, I, a many-years Srware IRON user, changed to slimjet. Tracking Prevention options: nowhere seen before Password...

Bug fix: Slimjet fails to launch on Fedora

We've just identified an issue that Slimjet wasn't able to launch on Fedora 24. The problem was caused by an incompatible version of the libudev.so we shipped with the tar.xz archive of Slimjet. We have fixed the problem by updating the version of libudev.so to 1.6.4. If you had trouble running Slim...

Re: A plea from a die-hard Windows XP user

Actually, we found Slimjet 11 is broken for XP in more than one way and it is pretty much impossible to fix all the issues. Therefore, we have selected Slimjet 10 as the final branch point for XP users instead. Refer to this blog: http://www.slimjet.com/blog/windows-xp-users-should-stay-with-slimjet...

XP Users should stay on Slimjet 10 for best experience.

Despite our efforts, Slimjet 11 still has compatibility issues with Windows XP that we are not able to fix so far due to widespread changes made by the Chrome team to make it incompatible with XP. The issues we are aware of are these: 1. Can't view PDF with the internal pdf viewer. 2. Can't install ...

Re: Both VP8 and H.264 are still unavailable under Win XP!

Adding h.264 support in XP is impossible since h.264 codec is not available in Windows XP. I am not exactly sure why VP8 is missing as well in XP. I can take a look at that one.
