Well l gave it one more go,l installed the latest version and installed the Dark Pro theme. And it worked!l now have Auto hide on top showing correctly in dark mode. I just heard a rumour that Chrome will remove the experimental setting that can disable ping tracking. I suspect this is likely to happen to Slimjet as well. I have seen mine update occasionally when opening the browser, some of them even open a new tab when they've been updated but I don't think many update too often so it doesn't happen much.

I did not realize it was portable you were using but you are in the correct location and have found the randomly named extension folders.
