Re: Requests: flash related
I still don't understand Slimjet's dual-Flash system. slimjet://plugins cares about: C:\Program Files (x86)\Slimjet\PepperFlash\pepflashplayer.dll http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about (which, by extension, means all Web pages) cares about: C:\Program Files (x86)\Slimjet\PepperFlash\pepflashplay...

Re: Requests: flash related
v4.0.14.0 is out now with the ability to update Flash via: chrome://components Then you can check here and no longer see the warning about outdated Flash: chrome://plugins So, can someone explain why Flash is installed to Program Files when (per the last link) it's what's in Slimjet's profile dir th...

Re: Help Slimjet Grow
Caligula, I'm sort of baffled by your comments. I'd never heard of Coolnovo, but by your description of it I expected to see screenshots of it that took my breath away. Instead, they looked pretty much exactly like...Chrome, which Slimjet also resembles mightily (for obvious reasons). So, I guess yo...

Re: Slimjet vs. Vivaldi
Yes, it's too early for Vivaldi at the moment, it still being alpha (it's not beta yet). Slimjet is easily ahead. The look of it right now--bold, bright, garish, heavy--will be fixable when they introduce themes. Extensions, while compatible, don't make it into the UI (except in context menus, as I ...

Re: Shop at Amazon/Ebay buttons
OK, thanks, I do use those search engines but just wasn't sure about the buttons. I thought they did go up more than once, but perhaps I was thinking of one of my other Slimjet installations.

Shop at Amazon/Ebay buttons
I'm not sure if this is a bug or a feature, but sometimes when using either of those default searches you'll find one or both of their corresponding toolbar buttons on your toolbar soon after.

Re: Cache options
No. If you do that the "null" disappears and files start caching.

Re: Features wish list
A couple things I wouldn't mind seeing:
-An option to suppress line-draw displays when using mouse gestures.
-Shortcut key customization.
-Search box in bookmark sidebar.

Re: Tab options
-Would it be possible to introduce an option (or is there a hack currently short of an extension) to make it so that the close button is displayed but only on the current tab (or a tab you're hovering over)? This is a real space-saver. I thought for a moment that this was built in when I found this...

Re: Cache options
Interestingly, if you do use that switch, the UI changes accordingly--in a way that's impossible to do via the UI.
