Re: Looking for suggestions for malware protection
Common sense is a definite "extension" to use. It's been such a long time since i last tried VoodooShield. Probably stopped using it for the false positive reason mentioned in this thread. But it has been vastly improved and i'm really liking it so far. Pretty content with Windows Defender...

Re: Looking for suggestions for malware protection

Two inexpensive ways to increase security along ...

Looking for suggestions for malware protection
Malware bytes is huge plus against malware but it is all quite high on system resources.
Anyone here uses their Chrome extension or opt for other ones with satisfaction to fortify Slimjet?

Slimjet is pretty decent on LinuxMint LMDE 3
Although it may be too soon to post a definitive appreciation for Slimjet's behavior on LinuxMint LMDE 3, just thought i'd briefly share a bit of what i'm seeing at present time. Working with a very noisy HP EliteBook 8460p for 5 years now, have tried many different things to make it quieter (Window...

Re: Slimjet for Android
+1
I'm sure a Slimjet Android version would bring huge improvements to the boring Chrome.
Still can't figure out why they eliminated the option to close all tabs on exit.
Firefox does this but i don't like all the recent changes there (even if speed is improved).

Re: Anyone manage to install SJ on Solus?
Their default "flavor" is Budgie and they have been high up (presently 8th position) on http://distrowatch.com/ for some time now. Very fast, nice and lightweight. Ikey (the main dev) is very active (full time now) along with a few other in offering support to users. Unfortunately, Slimjet...
