Thanks for the input, so does it alleviate the problems to use a custom cache folder? I've already moved Slimjet to the same drive as Windows is on (using portable version). If putting the cache on a thumb drive helps, then I should be able to get rid of this issue by getting an SSD tho, right? Sinc...

I'm having this problem too, Slimjet is extremely slow and seems to be doing some I/O work because browsing files on my computer becomes slow as well once Slimjet starts to lag.

I'm back on Slimjet after Chrome completely pooped out and started eating CPU and memory, which incidentally is exactly what made me jump from Firefox to Chrome before that, lol.

I think you guys at Flashpeak should realize that Slimjet will never be a large competitor to the main browsers. The only reason I know about Slimjet is because I searched for a chromium fork, and tried like 6 different forks. So, you should focus on marketing to the Chrome "geekbase" i.e ...

The real problem for me is that Slimjet over all looks like a browser from 2005, but anyway, I made a theme that matches my OS now so it's a bit more subtle :) But I was thinking that , since you can change the tab look in the binaries/libraries (before compiling), maybe one could change the new ta...
