Freak Exploit and Slimjet

Is Slimjet Version 3.0.4.0 (based on Chromium 40.0.2214.93) vulnerable? Specifically, they mention that RC4 is vulnerable. Slimjet uses the following RC4 ciphers: TLS_RSA_WITH_RC4_128_SHA TLS_RSA_WITH_RC4_128_MD5 TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_RC4_128_SHA More from ZDNet: http://www.zdnet.com/article/how-to-pro...

Re: Google blocking all NPAPI plugins in jan 2015

The company announced today that it will start to block all NPAPI plugins in all versions of Google Chrome starting January 2015. The timeline looks like this: January 2015 -- Google removes the whitelist which allows popular plugins to be run currently in the browser. Whitelisted plugins are Silve...

Re: Great concept for a Chromium fork

I came along a similar path. I was with Opera since 3.62, and my stepping off point was 12.17. I intended to use that version for a longer time, but the more I used SJ the more it made sense to make the switch. I don't miss the bugs and lack of site compatibility of Presto, but Opera's attitude tow...

Re: H264 support

Sorry. I can't put a date on this one right now. It's a small development team here and adding the codec support is not a trivial item. We have to prioritize items to do based on implementation efforts and user's demand. Adding H.264 support is requested by very few people at this point. Can you li...

Re: Every time I reboot I lose settings extensions

I can't produce the problems you mentioned. I installed the adblock plus extension on one computer. Then moved the entire folder to another computer and open up Slimjet. The adblock plus extension stayed. Anybody else having this issue? Flashpeak, My mistake, not a problem after all. Google Chrome ...

Issues with Chrome Carry Over to SJ through Google Sync

Ah, I figured it out. My mistake. I must have set up Google Chrome at some time in the past and there were leftover registry settings. RegSeeker found them and I deleted them and now I no longer see the message that Chrome has reset my settings. My settings and extensions are now as they should be. ...
