So far when I install Slimjet, by default, Slimjet has this turned off. I'm not sure why it is turned on for your system. You can turn this behaviour off. In a new tab address bar navigate to, "slimjet://flags", and search for "enable tab discarding". Click the Text Link that say...

For clarification.
You mean if you have more than one tab open and you go back to a or any previous tab?

It must be asked, did you obtain a fresh installation file for Slimjet from a different source than the original when you performed the clean install?

Something that is installed to chrome extensions by, "installed by enterprise policy", is extremely likely to be malware of some kind brought in without your permission during a program installation. Malwarebytes is a very capable anti-malware program and should be able to identify it and ...
