Google Talk/Hangouts plugin not working on Slimjet
Hi, I would like to report an issue with the Google Talk plugin when running Slimjet. This happens when the user has not upgraded to Hangouts within Gmail. When opening the video chat icon, it tries loading the video chat (also known as a "Hangout") and comes up with an error: Couldn't sta...

Re: Slimjet 6 and Java support
We have started working on migrating Slimjet to Chromium 46. But we are running into some difficulty with the support of Java. We found a way to re-enable the support of NPAPI and silverlight works just fine. However, Java simply refuses to work properly so far. It looks like Google's chrome team h...

Re: Changing of the Blink/Chromium engine version

Re: Slimjet 6 and Java support
Well SJ 6.0 is now active. I think I'll update, seeing as though I was on SJ v4.0.15.
Is NPAPI still supported? I don't use Java that much but other plugins are required.

Re: Support of NPAPI plugin
NPAPI is not only a flash, but NPAPI-extensions without analogues and other NPAPI plug-ins. Needless Google artificially restrict users. And Google too fond decide for others what they need. Since Chrome 45, Google has somehow arbitrarily determined that nobody is allowed continue to use Java, Silv...

Re: Weird issue when upgrading versions
Unless you are running the portable version, it should be ok for you to uninstall first and then install the new version, as long as you don't choose the option "remove data and settings" during uninstallation. Try that and see how it works out for you. Hello, I would like to report an is...

Weird issue when upgrading versions
Hello, I would like to report an issue that I experienced earlier today, when upgrading versions of SlimJet. My computer is running windows 7 x64. I used to, and still currently, run version 4.0.15 of Slimjet, equivalent to Chrome 42. I tried upgrading today since I am getting notifiers from Google ...

Re: Support of NPAPI plugin
Do you plan to leave NPAPI support in future versions to 45+ engines? That this may indicate 360 Extreme Explorer (45) and Cent Browser (46). NPAPI in both work fine. That means that if those two browsers are also Chromium based, there should be a way of getting NPAPI to work in SJ too, past ver. 4...
