May you can rearrange things to your liking without zapping everything.

The two main folders should be "bookmarks bar" and "other bookmarks", plus whatever other folders you may have added.

I don't know exactly what you did, but to be on the safe side load all the pages in your reading list and save them as bookmarks one at a time, and then clear the reading list. After that, if you really want the reading list to go away forever and not just hide it: chrome://flags/ https://i.imgur.co...

Some way to move it over without hacking the code?

Additional information: I can make it not do that by blocking all scripts, but then the pages themselves are no use. But I think it is definitely established that it's a problem with the scripts being somehow incompatible with the way the New Tab Page displays the little thumbnails. I'll experiment ...

I have same complaint, but my real complaint is I don't like the search tabs button feechur.

Brave now has it too, with the same issues.

I'm guessing there is no easy fix.

Somehow your settings got garbled, but likely your bookmarks are still there.

Go to settings and scroll down.
