I just downloaded the newest version and I noticed that the Material theme is now gone. In chrome:\\flags I can pick between normal and touch, but both options show the default slimjet theme.

I have since a new computer and it's a bit better, however Slimjet still consumes too much CPU. From what I have noticed , if you have more than say 10 tabs open, browsing will be very slow.

I also agree about the "it slows down other applications, and causes mouse-delays"

I'm running the same version of SJ on my Vista laptop and I just checked your video link and the video plays fine here. Try disabling any add-ons/extensions and check the video again... Since discovering that you can switch the skin/GUI in chrome://flags to Material, I was thrilled! I don't really like the slimjet default theme as it reminds me of what browsers looked like in the 2003-2007 period. I was using Maxthon and firefox back then and they looked very similar to how slimjet...
