Since yesterday (Mar 4 2024) I have noticed Slimjet suddenly crashing (and closing) often. I think what triggers this is a webpage that has links to YouTube videos in it, like if you search Google and the results page comes up with that.

It's making the browser unusable.

Why not just back up the whole profile?

If that's the right way to do it, OK. How do I do that?

And then how would I use that profile on a new computer?

What's the right approach for making a backup of all my Slimjet-memorized logins--usernames and passwords--in case my hard drive or this computer dies? (which almost happened recently). And how to then use that on the new computer I acquire?

I'm the OP and just for completeness' sake I'll mention that the recent Slimjet version upgrade does indeed fix this Reddit problem for me. Case closed.

Today I updated Slimjet to version 37.0.3.0 and immediately after that I found I could not load Reddit. So the default offline installer choice should work on your box. There is more than one possible reason for a failure to extract. An issue with the Slimjet installer is the least likely. But, you may want to download the offline installer one more time just to be sure you didn't get a bad download....
