Can confirm. Having same issue, no sound with:
a. Linux MX
b. Slimjet 28.0.3.0
c. 64 bit OS
d. file replaced with github.com/iteufel/nwjs-ffmpeg-prebuilt/releases/download/0.47.2/0.47.2-linux-x64.zip
