I delayed updates for a while to avoid encountering this issue; now I jumped straight to 29.0.3.0. The bug is gone. Beautiful! <3

I can confirm. I'm slowly considering switching to Opera, now it's Chromium-based...

New development: I somehow managed to reproduce the corruption that causes the crash on the second right click. 28.0.2.0. Difficult to say what exactly caused it, but this means the update process itself isn't causing the corruption. I was just refreshing a couple reddit tabs.

tl;dr I've got the same exact problem and resolved it on 28.0.2.0 by reverting to 26.0.12.0 and back. I was using 27.0.X.0 (x86), can't remember which one. It could've well been 27.0.7.0, I'm unsure.
