Re: Browser inventory. General discussion
Back on track, really I should have discussed the bug fixes in the bug forum. Current inventory: Slimjet, native ad blocking with a few custom entries. Brave, native ad blocking ditto, all the cryptocurrency nonsense disabled and the Tor feature turned off. Opera Firefox Tor Lynx Not all used every ...

Re: enable dns over https (doh) or dns spoofing protection(like yandex)?
I use xubuntu linux 18.04, slimjet does not have a "doh" flag, can I enable an encrypted dns server? Can you specify a DNS server outside any particular application? I'm not using Linux and can't tell you exactly how, but maybe this Windows dialog will help you get there. https://i.imgur.com/ape5mt...

Re: Version 35.0.2.0 won't update in 64bit
Just got email from Flashpeak Support (I included my address in the bug report).

Re: Version 35.0.2.0 won't update in 64bit
Still really on 35.0.1.0 , but now check update says no new version available.
My guess is the devs are working on the problem, and the problem is they didn't stage it correctly.
I'll try again after lunch.

Re: Version 35.0.2.0 won't update in 64bit
It didn't really update it. Go to settings ==> about to see what version it really is. Also see discussion in the browser inventory thread.
I have reported the bug (that means the feedback link, not posting here), and you should too.

Re: Browser inventory. General discussion
It prompted me to update again (the regular way) so I went ahead.
Nope.
chrome://settings/help still reporting version 35.0.1.0
My guess is the new version is OK, but the devs have not staged it correctly.

Re: Browser inventory. General discussion
Just went with the offline installer and it reinstalled Version 35.0.1.0 -- maybe the installer for the new one isn't staged correctly.
64 bit, BTW.

Looks like I didn't really update it. I will try again with the offline installer.
chrome://settings/help
Version 35.0.1.0 (based on Chromium 101.0.4951.34) (Official Build) (64-bit)
So yes to Gabriele's question.
