I use xubuntu linux 18.04, slimjet does not have a "doh" flag, can I enable an encrypted dns server? Can you specify a DNS server outside any particular application? Still really on 35.0.1.0 , but now check update says no new version available.

My guess is the devs are working on the problem, and the problem is they didn't stage it correctly.

It didn't really update it. Go to settings ==> about to see what version it really is. Also see discussion in the browser inventory thread.

I have reported the bug (that means the feedback link, not posting here), and you should too.

My guess is the new version is OK, but the devs have not staged it correctly.

Just went with the offline installer and it reinstalled Version 35.0.1.0 -- maybe the installer for the new one isn't staged correctly.

64 bit, BTW.

Looks like I didn't really update it. I will try again with the offline installer.
