Never really thought about this before but on balance I think I prefer the default the way it is. If for instance, you are browsing the index page of a forum like this one, you can middle-click on several posts that look interesting with the aim of looking at those pages within the next few minutes....

I can't see any option to reorder them by date, so all I can suggest is to try again provided you still have your original backup as you say (backup the current wrongly-ordered bookmarks somewhere else first if you are unsure about this). Strange. I just tried Jango and got sound. Couldn't get anything on iHeartRadio but that's probably because I'm in a different country. The pages were mostly blank. A huge "Thank you" to barrycforever for coming up with this magic formula which finally gives sound on the 32 bit Linux version. I first tried Slimjet a few months ago and was impressed except for this problem which the developers never seemed to fix. Marking it "Partly solved" may be a bit pessimis...
