ffmpeg, Linux Mint & 44.0.5.0
I'm reinstalling Slimjet 44.0.5.0 on Linux Mint 22 but can't find the matching libffmpeg.so to allow embedded videos to play on BBC.co.uk. Does anyone know which version I require. I'm slowly working my way through but is dead slow. I'm assiming the version of libffmpeg.so must be after 0.72.0 and h...

Re: 44.0.5.0 closing incorrectly
https://www.slimjet.com/ Just underneath it quotes 44.0.6.0 and I now realise that its quoting the Windows version and I didn't bother to read the version number again before I downloaded - just assumed that the number quoted on the landing page applied to Linux because that's what I was using. :( I...

44.0.5.0 closing incorrectly
Recently, on a Windows PC I had a problem with Slimjet. It decided to close when it felt like it when I clicked on home tabs page (I have 3 rows of 4 tiles). My YouTube tile would open the Youtube webpage hang there for a short while and then close. I "cured" it by deleting the User Data f...

Quickfill replacement
Whilst its far from perfect and is more difficult to set up than QuickFill I'm experimenting with an AutoHotKey menu. Working out what input is required is a bit of a pain. One forum I use requires 15 tabs to reach the userid box.

QuickFill replacement
It looks as though I'm going to have to upgrade from 29.0.2.0 since one of my favourite news sites (TheRegister.com) is screwing up.
I'm interested in what, if any, replacements people are using for QuickFill.

Linux Cinnamon Mint & BBC website
I have 3 laptops running Slimjet, 2 running Windows and 1 running Cinnamon Mint 20.2. Both Windows machines are fine on the beeb's website but on the Linux machine the pictures are sometimes displayed only as gray boxes. This may be down to the speed of the machine (ARKA 11.6" atom powered) Chr...

Re: QuickFill form filler
I agree. I don't have a lot of sites listed there but its far better than the Google alternative.
I also am not bothered about synching over devices.
So far my "solution" has been to stop updating Slimjet.

I'm trying to upgrade from 25.0.0.0 portable to 25.0.9.0 on a W7x64 PC. I'm stuck permanently "Allocating space"
Any suggestions?
