What do you mean by floating URL? If I go to full screen, the URL is where I expect it to be - in the address bar.
You can access cookie data from Preferences. As a shortcut, I bookmarked Site Data: chrome://settings/siteData. That gives me instant access. To control the cookie settings for sites, I use the extension Policy Control.
The settings in the preferences are defaults, not overrides. Any font setting within the code for the page is going to be used. Only if there are no font settings for the page will those in the preferences be used. I believe the minimum font size is used, however.
Why is version 220.127.116.11 not available for MacOS? The page says that it is for that version, but the link downloads 18.104.22.168. Will 22.214.171.124 be available for MacOS? Maybe I have to wait for that?

I am no longer having the problem of parts of the address being hidden, but I cannot help but wonder why showing the prefix of the hostname is so bad. Is the protocol so evil that it is a terrible idea to display it?
