Re: "Read Mail" Custom Button

That option was added to do this http://www.slimjet.com/en/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=92. To get thundebird to open links in another browser you have to set the network protocol-handlers in thunderbird to true and make sure you have the browser of choice set as your default browser. As to a butt...

Re: Google Fixes Sandbox Escape in Chrome

I've moved to Chromium stable till Slimjet updates to 43.0.2357.65 or newer only because sandbox escape is risky.

It doesn't say whether that was for all OS's and I run linux but just being safe.

Re: "Read Mail" Custom Button

There is a 'program shortcut' I asked about in the general section but no one has answered me yet.

Re: WebRTC and Canvas

There is a chrome extension that's not in the store yet but you can download it from Github. It took my Panopticlick fingerprint from 1 in 6,000,000 to 1 in 2,600 essentially making me look like a few thousand other people out there.

Google Fixes Sandbox Escape in Chrome

This is the only issue I have with Chromium forks, they are usually behind the curve on security fixes and this one looks like a serious security hole. https://goo.gl/nbj5wX Google has patched a high-risk vulnerability in its Chrome browser that allows an attacker to escape the Chrome sandbox..........

Re: List of extensions and user scripts

uMatrix if you spend the time is better than anything else for security and the ad blocking is pretty comprehensive but that's not the main feature. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/umatrix/ogfcmafjalglgifnmanfmnieipoejdcf?utm_source=chrome-app-launcher-info-dialog Sprucemarks for those tha...

Re: Features wish list

Search current site opens a search for the entire site as opposed to the page. There's a chrome developer that has made a button for everything but find.

It's not a big deal. I should just take the time and create one myself as an extension that maybe I'll be the only one to use.

Re: Slimjet vs. Vivaldi

It's only my opinion but Vivaldi is just trying to recreate features for die hard users of legacy Opera. I've tried it and I was not impressed. Slimjet seems to be doing things that no one else is doing with Chromium like making WebRTC an option not a forced feature like every other Chromium fork ou...

Re: Features wish list

F3 brings up find also which is more convenient that CRTL-F but I would prefer a button.

I'm sure there is a way to bring up downloads through some button combination also but I like having the download button in the toolbar for convenience.
