Re: "Do not load background tabs when restoring tabs in last session"

Let's say you closed the browser with 5 tabs open. When you restart it, only 1 of them will be in the foreground (active), and that's the only one that's loaded. The background tabs (i.e. the other 4) are only loaded when clicked. Some people prefer this to speed up browser launch time and to save m...

"Do not load background tabs when restoring tabs in last session"

Whatever happened to this feature? If it's still there, it's definitely eluding me. It was introduced in early 2016, so quite a while ago.

Re: Windows 10 build 14316 Narrow font issue

Except now that flag is being eliminated as of Chromium 52: http://www.ghacks.net/2016/06/06/chrome-font-rendering-google With it enabled, as of the latest build of Win10 Insider, it's still a problem in Slimjet and Cent, but hasn't been a problem in Vivaldi for a while somehow. And for me at least,...

Re: Windows 10 build 14316 Narrow font issue

Disabling DirectWrite in chrome:flags works around the problem.

Unfortunately, 14328 doesn't help.

Re: Narrow font in 9.0.2.0

Feel free to delete the thread. This turns out to be a Windows 10 problem with build 14316, which coincidentally was installed not long before the Slimjet upgrade. I've subsequently found the problem in Vivaldi and Cent, too. One other user has reported the problem so far that I've seen. It is odd t...

Re: Narrow font in 9.0.2.0

No, that's still on 100%.

As a sanity check, I ran Chrome and all looks normal there. This gives you a better look at the problem, with Slimjet on top and Chrome on the bottom:

Windows 10 build 14316 Narrow font issue

I just updated from 9.0.1.0 to 9.0.2.0 in Win10 and find that seemingly all pages, including internal ones, use a narrow font. I have not changed the font settings (it's still on Medium). Is this just a quirk here? Capture.JPG Problem Identified This turns out to be a Windows 10 problem with build 1...

Re: Slimjet 32 & 64 Version 5.0.16.0 using old flash?

New version of Flash today so more fun. Testing with 6.0, trying to update with chrome://components yielded no results. Manually updating the Program Files location with v.245 and visiting Adobe's Flash About page showed v.245, despite an older version in the profile and later NO version in the prof...
