I have the same problem. Its better if Slimjet allows the side panel functionality like chrome which contains bookmarks, reading list and journeys.

i upgraded to SJ 19 by uninstalling SJ18 but keeping user data as it is when asked by uninstaller.Then i downloaded the SJ19 beta windows installer from official website and installed it and TADA.. Thanks but as i have already mentioned,I didn't want to change my defaults folder and setup everything again.
Anyways i found a working solution by clearing prefetch,temp files and restarting the browser each time i need to install a extension.

this error message pops up...
"Could not move extension directory into profile"
i searched internet,i do not want to change my default's folder.Any other solution?
