PS: actually it's not only YouTube... several news/media sites have the same issue with Slimjet but not Brave.

This might not be a "bug" but the default Ad Blocker doesn't work on YouTube anymore. In contrast, Brave's still works fine out-of-the-box. Anything I can do to have YouTube working properly without ads on Slimjet? Maybe another non-default extension is working fine? I'm on Slimjet 42.0.3....

Now libffmpeg 0.83.0 seems to be working with Slimjet 42.0.2.0 on Linux.

Now libffmpeg 0.79.0 seems to be working with Slimjet 40.0.2.0 on Linux. (until the next Chromium upgrade of Slimjet breaks compatibility again...)

Yes the issue is not so much about the libffmpeg.so having to be installed separately. The issue is that the compatible version of libffmpeg.so is not properly referenced on this page: https://www.slimjet.com/en/libffmpeg.php , hence the recurring bugs with videos when slimjet is updated. Finally, thanks! I upgraded to Slimjet 39.0.1.0, then downgraded my libffmpeg.so to 0.66, and now it does work!

Hopefully we'll reach the level where each slimjet upgrade is packaged or at least referring to the proper compatible libffmpeg.so version.

Which Linux did you try this on(ditro+version or kernel)? And which video sites/types?
