Muylinux.com Works fine for me, so does Semana.com.
Must be a problem with your system, Firewall, AdBlock settings, etc.
It has nothing to do with SlimJEt

How to add Wikipedia as a Search Engine
I'm having a problem getting Wikipedia installed as a search engine. I did as the docs suggested and searched Wikipedia for something and then copied the URL into the Add Search Engine box. It shows up in the Manage Search Engines screen but doesn't show up as an option to be selected in the search ...

Re: Open in new tab context menu missing?
Actually, with bookmarks and on the bookmarks toolbar, "Open in New Tab" IS an option. There is a series of Tab options under "Settings" that says, "Auto create new tab when a URL is entered" - if this is switched on, the "Open in new tab" context menu item d...

Re: Open in new tab context menu missing?
It changed at some point, from Version 16 to 17, IRRC. If you right click on a bookmark, Open in new Tab isn't an option. Open in Current Tab is. But left clicking the link in the Bookmarks Menu will open the link in a New Tab. If you want the link opened in the current tab you have to select it. Ho...

Re: Is it the new version, the settings, or a new web trend?
. Business Insider was started by Henry Blodget and he has lots of nerve to require that you must view ads to use his site. Due to his violations of securities laws and subsequent civil trial conviction, Blodget is permanently banned from involvement in the securities industry https://en.wikipedia.o...

I registered a bit ago, and had no problems. I used a Gmail address, if that means anything.

Re: Fat bookmark sidepanel frames in Slimjet 16.0.0
If you go to Settings/Appearance/Show Bookmarks Bar and select "Auto Hide on Side" then you just have to mouse over to the left side and and the Bookmarks will show up in a nice tidy thin bar. It's not the complete Bookmarks Manager like when you select the Boxed Star Bookmarks icon from t...

Re: New to SlimJet - Very pleased with the program
Just to follow up on the Bookmarks discussion. The Settings/Appearance/Customize Toolbar option of " Auto Hide on Side " is a great feature. It would be nice if were a bit wider, but it's great to be able to pop up the bookmarks with a swipe of the mouse. Nice touch with the Overflow Chevr...

Re: New to SlimJet - Very pleased with the program
Welcome to Slimjet !! In the meantime for bookmarks, the side panel can be quickly opened with a Ctrl+I keys. Only takes a few goes to get used to doing that. And it acts as a toggle. So the same key press will close it. And if you want the "manager" window the Ctrl+Shift+O key combinatio...
