I think there should be an option to force Bookmarks to open in a new tab.

When I click a Bookmark on the toolbar, I want it to open in a new tab like Google does when I click a search result.

- Add option to disable/hide the built-in Downloads progress bar
- Add option to restore the ability to go back a page by pressing the Backspace key
- Add ability to download/Save Image As... by ALT-clicking a picture or animated GIF

Well, for one I don't see any advantage to your suggestion when a single-click on the X on the tab does this..
