Re: Slimjet downloads compromised??

If it's compromised, you wouldn't see a valid digital signature. If digital signature is valid, Windows should show a blue dialog with "FlashPeak Inc" as the publisher. Otherwise, the elevation dialog will have a yellow color. The 32bit full installer should have 50,061,920 bytes when downloaded. T...

Re: Slimjet Crashing Continuously / BITS transfer

auto-start updates not user requested

Slimjet initiates updates of differnt Slimjet parts via BITS-service although updates are disabled and no extensions are loaded. If these updates are blocked by a firewall, SLIMJET will crash (crash reports are already sent to Slimjet). Refer for details to: http://www.slimjet.com/en/forum/viewtopic...

Re: Slimjet Crashing Continuously / BITS transfer

strange that this privacy related issue (unknown interaction with Google) has no reaction / comment of Slimjet developers. Not even Slimjet crashing which was reported with crashlogs, no info-request. Please read again . . . . Today the download initiated by Slimjet (Chrome-base) that will cause cra...

Re: Slimjet worth 111 MB of Memory-HOG!

In my case with just this page open + typing reply: 5 slimjet processes active with total memory: 35+35+15+1,2+1,3=87,5 MB. I think also too much.

Internet explorer 11 does it with less: 2 procs and 51,6 + 8,4=60 MB.

Re: 13.0.0.1 Font size / zoom level

Found that is't a generic Chrome issue: read https://productforums.google.com/forum/ ... 2YtwlJCAAJ

Solution: add " /high-dpi-support=1 /force-device-scale-factor=1 " to the command line starting Slimjet and everthing looks normal again.
