Perhaps I wasn't clear enough in my previous post.
On Windows and Ubuntu 14.04 (both 32 and 64 bit) the YouTube down loader button appears underneath the YouTube video, (as described on the website)
But on Ubuntu 16.04 (the very latest Ubuntu) this YouTube download button does not appear.

Youtube download not working in Ubuntu 16.04
It is not possible to download YouTube videos on Slimjet browser running on Lubuntu 16.04 or Xubuntu 16.04 or Ubuntu 16.04. However it works without problem on Lubuntu 14.04 / Xubuntu 14.04 both 32 and 64 bit. I get the download video button under the YouTube video in Lubuntu 14.04 or Xubuntu 14.04 ...
