I just came across this test page for HTML5 video: https://tekeye.uk/html/html5-video-test-page
Only 3 out of the 8 examples work with Slimjet. Why? All 8 worked with Vivaldi, Pale Moon and SeaMonkey. Interestingly, Webm and Ogg Theora failed to work with Safari. Apparently Slimjet cannot work with .mp4 video, but can with .ogv and .webm.
Why do some video formats not work?
Re: Why do some video formats not work?
Just clicked your link and went down the list.
For me all of them work. See sig for my set up.

Re: Why do some video formats not work?
I am using MacOS, not Windows. I am also using uBlock Origin, not the built-in ad blocker. I use uBlock Origin with all my browsers, with as close to the same settings as possible. I have the same subscriptions (except for the legacy versions having a small legacy list) and the same filter list for all. I have not turned off ad blocking. Since 3 browsers work with all the samples, while Safari works with the formats where Slimjet does not, I do not see why the ad blocker would make a difference.

Perhaps you need to do this?:

Re: Why do some video formats not work?
I do not think so. A few Slimjet versions ago, I needed to substitute that subroutine library in order to play some YouTube videos and to use Google Maps street view, but those all work with the latest version. That would not explain why Safari cannot handle Webm or Ogg Theora.sleeper10 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2019 8:38 pmPerhaps you need to do this?:

Re: Why do some video formats not work?
in any case, you do need to do that each time you update Slimjet.
