Certif Error "NET::ERR_CERTIFICATE_TRANSPARENCY_REQUIRED"
Certif Error "NET::ERR_CERTIFICATE_TRANSPARENCY_REQUIRED"
I just posted as a reply on a previous similar issue....then felt the title of that post wasn't clear enough for the issue.

All was working perfect, even as of last night. This am, went to same sites I always go to and many of the https::// sites are failing just as josegimcam noted in the post I indicated.
In research, seems as though this problem is in chrome ver 53.xxx, although there is references to a symantec issue with their cert(s) (which evidently many domains would use that cert too) and chrome. For example, craigslist is failing under this cert error....again, daily visits till this am were fine. But I don't see s symantec cert involved...
Tried disabling all extensions, dropped slimjet version to .10.0, no change, then back to .11.0, also no change (this was like a reinstall)...
Tried same in IE and all fine....
I see .11.0 seemed to address a certificate issue with Linux...same? I have W7....

Good catch! I too am seeing this on a variety of sites today.
This needs to be fixed ASAP! Sounds like an upgrade to Chromium version 55.x is in order...

Re: Certif Error "NET::ERR_CERTIFICATE_TRANSPARENCY_REQUIRED
I have this error too, doesn't happen on all sites , but does it on Ebay,Wunderground.com,fasttech.com,
i have temporarily moved over to the 64 bit version 11.0.2.0 (based on Chromium 51.0.2704.84 (64-bit) until it gets sorted.
edit-i also have Norton internet security and was using the latest 32 bit slimjet browser.Version 12.0.11.0 (based on Chromium 53.0.2785.89)
Did not have this issue before i updated to the current version.

Re: Certif Error "NET::ERR_CERTIFICATE_TRANSPARENCY_REQUIRED
Same problem here. Win7 and slimjet 12.0.11.0. This just started about 24 hours ago.
I can replicate on these sites and many more:
https://www.amazon.com/ (Symantec SSL)
https://www.wunderground.com/ (Symantec SSL)
https://www.fasttech.com/ (Symantec SSL)
https://www.windytv.com/ (RapidSSL)
NET::ERR_CERTIFICATE_TRANSPARENCY_REQUIRED
Note that the windytv SSL is not symantec, if that matters.

Re: Certif Error "NET::ERR_CERTIFICATE_TRANSPARENCY_REQUIRED
yup, certain certificates...craigslist also for me....these are sites I am sure we all use, so we expect a quick update. I don't run Chrome separately (since it mucks registry settings up, at least in the past, when one uninstalls it)...!!

The problem is caused by a KNOWN BUG in Chromium 53 related to the handling of Symantec certificates.
For more information see "Bug Reports" forum post titled "Your connection is not private":

Re: Certif Error "NET::ERR_CERTIFICATE_TRANSPARENCY_REQUIRED
Hi! I have had the privacy error problem with Slimjet too. I downloaded and installed the latest update, but the error persisted. I checked my version number, which is Version 12.0.1.0 (based on Chromium 53.0.2785.89), but the release says 12.0.12.0, released Dec. 11. My version number is from October. I tried installing it twice. I thought about uninstalling and reinstalling, but I wasn't sure if my settings and info would be saved, and I hate to go through transferring all the info from Firefox again that I did when I switched to Slimjet. I've been using Firefox for the https sites, but Firefox performs horribly on my computer. Chrome is not horrible, just annoying, and I don't have anything set up with Chrome. Is there a way to make sure the current version installs? Thanks!
