Trusteer Rapport

Post by DaveHawley »

I've recently started using Slimjet with Windows XP, and I'm very impressed that even with Chromium 50 support has been maintained. Well done!
After being abandoned by Opera and Vivaldi, I'm now hoping that Slimjet can replace Internet Explorer 8, which I still use for my online banking.
I was pleased to see that Trusteer Rapport, which my online banking expects you to have installed, appeared to work with Slimjet.
The extension appears in the list and is enabled, and the icon appears in the extensions, which it never did in Opera or Vivaldi.
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to actually work.
When I visit a protected site, the icon does not go green as it should, and the site does not recognise that Rapport is installed.
Is this an intrinsic problem, and can it be fixed?
Thanks, Dave.
:)

Try disabling: first, reading from HTML5 canvas, try again. Second, untick enable WebRT, try again. It could be only the first one.
